Well, were into day 3 of our chicken infestation, and I gotta admit Jase has been a little star. Other than screaming his head of when I put calamine lotion on his spots, hes coped admirably.
Today is the first day of his week off, and so far all the chicken pox has meant to him is that he gets to stay at home, eat snacks on the couch and play on his PS3. Not a bad life for a four year old. Were calling it his Chicken Pox Holiday.
As for Matty, today he officially transitioned over to the Over Twos room at daycare. He will rule the place by the end of the week. If he hasn't got the pox by then.

Those damn chickens....
Jasons into his second day of the dreaded pox. He has about 60, maybe 80 'pops' as he calls them. His face is all puffy and hes a bit miserable. Poor boy. He did perk up a bit when I told him he wouldnt be going to daycare this week and he could just stay home and play on the Playstation and watch DVD's.
Almost worth getting the pox for aye?!!
So far Matty is 'pop' free. I dont know if it would be better to have them with it at the same time, or one after the other. He will just get it when he gets it I suppose.

new blog, refreshed commitment! (yeah, right)
OK Mum, in part this ones for you :)
For those who don't yet know, Mums moving to Hamilton in three short weeks, and I figured that she might like a place to catch up on all things Jason and Matty. I never liked the look of the old blog, and most of it was created before Matty was born and I wanted something that was reflective of both of them in equal measure. So, new blog! (its quite exciting actually).
If anyone stumbles across this and on a passing whim wants to know what its about, here it goes in brief...
Jasons 4 and a half, blond, blue eyed, beautiful, currently has chicken pox and is a little worried about starting school next year and the possibility that his baby teeth might fall out (as he discovered today on the Wiggles).
Mattys 2 and a half and fearless. Not in a good way. He will leap in the deep end of the pool, run onto the road, climb the highest ladder and hurl himself down the longest slide. My hearts in my mouth 50 times a day because of Matty alone. Hes also blond, blue eyed and has mischief tattooed across his entire face :)
So, I'm gonna start playing with the format and uploading photos etc. Hopefully Ill be able to commit to this one. I'd really like this to be a record of the boys lives so that when they are older they can appreciate exactly what we all went through!!!
